Who Should Attend

  • All experienced professionals who are involved with or have an interest in providing better healthcare services through enhanced knowledge and implementation of Digital Health initiatives

Admission requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of working experience; or
  • A Diploma from a local polytechnic with at least 10 years of relevant work experience

Please note that the Industry Graduate Diploma in Digital Health will only be available from August 2025.

Learning Objectives

The Industry Graduate Diploma in Digital Health aims to provide healthcare professionals with an integrated view of how technology and analytics are transforming healthcare services.

Through this programme, learners will:

  • Gain insights into Singapore’s healthcare systems, the players and stakeholders involved, as well as how healthcare is funded and regulated in Singapore.
  • Acquire an appreciation of the digital innovations disrupting global healthcare.
  • Perform data analysis to generate insights across functional areas such as patient care and experience, as well as human capital management practices in healthcare.
  • Assess the risks involved in the deployment of digital health solutions.

Topic/Structure

This Industry Graduate Diploma in Digital Health comprises the following modules:

  • Graduate Certificate in Digital Health Module 1: Conceptualising Smart Healthcare Solutions  
  • Graduate Certificate in Digital Health Module 2: Analytics for Healthcare (Basic & Intermediate Levels)
  • Graduate Certificate in Digital Health Module 3: Analytics for Healthcare (Advanced Level)
  • Graduate Certificate in Digital Health Module 4: Legal Issues & Risk Management
  • Graduate Certificate in Digital Health Module 5: Managing Partnerships in Digital Health - Insurers & Insurance
  • Graduate Certificate in Digital Health Module 6: Healthcare Leadership for a Digital Era
  • Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Management and Leadership Module 1: The Healthcare Operating Environment
  • Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Management and Leadership Module 2: Healthcare People and Culture
  • Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Management and Leadership Module 3: Key Healthcare Operational Competencies
  • Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Management and Leadership Module 4: Future of Healthcare and Action Learning 

CAPSTONE PROJECT
Healthcare is a complex sector and theoretical learning must be supplemented with rigorous and deep analysis into a healthcare issue. Participants will be assigned a project/ topic to work on in groups. They will be supervised by the Programme Director and an industry practitioner mentor for this project. In addition to training hours, participants have to devote between 12 to 15 days to undertake this capstone project. This project will commence in Module 1 and end in Module 4 Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Management and Leadership Module 4: Future of Healthcare and Action Learning . 

  • The project deliverable will be a final report of between 7,000 to 8,000 words (not including references) and a presentation to the programme director and invited guest experts on the last day of Module 4 of . The report will constitute 40% of the final grade and the presentation 15%.

Assessment

As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of every module as well as an overall Industry Graduate Diploma exam. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.

CERTIFICATION

Upon completion of all the required modules within 2 years and passing the overall IGD exam, participants will be awarded an Industry Graduate Diploma in Digital Health.

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
