PREREQUISITES:

  • Participant should have at least a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma with at least 3 years of working experience
  • Participants must have a good grasp of English

Overview

Going with your gut feel or personal preference to drive a marketing campaigns no longer holds. In the age of digitalisation, data has become the new currency for brands to obtain insights, find and engage with customers.

The overall objective of this module is to provide participants with an overview and framework in using data analysis for creative execution – what kind of data is required, how to source for it, and develop actionable insights.

Learning Objectives

  • Source and collect data specific to their needs
  • Structure and organise data, build a dashboard and leverage it
  • Craft a presentation with storytelling and data analysis

Assessment

As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

SkillsFuture Credit

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
  • Trainees are eligible for ETSS funding only if their company's SME status is approved prior to the course commencement date. To verify your SME's status, please click here.

Dr Gan Su-lin
Media Psychologist

Dr Gan, a media psychologist, has provided communication and cross-cultural expertise to various sectors for over two decades. In 2017, she became a Consultant to the Ministry of Health's Communications and Engagement Group (CEG), overseeing the Citizens' Jury for the War on Diabetes. Joining the ministry in 2019, she expanded CEG's research for strategic messaging and online misinformation management. Known for her role in public consultation design, she now supports government agencies through the Ministry of Culture, Community Development and Youth's Expert Panel. As an Associate of the Healthcare Leadership College of MOH Holdings, she curates the Leaders for Singapore Healthcare programme, a premier leadership initiative for the healthcare sector.
