Overview
Success depends on the ability to adapt, make informed decisions, and sustain performance while operating at speed. This programme builds the personal management foundation needed to operate in digitally accelerated environments. It focuses on developing self-awareness, adaptive management styles, and coaching capabilities for teams operating alongside AI tools and digital workflows.
Participants will engage with structured frameworks such as digital leadership maturity models and AI readiness diagnostics to better understand their current capabilities and future development priorities. Participants will translate professional aspirations into structured leadership development plans aligned with digital capability readiness indicators. The programme also strengthens resilience and well-being practices to sustain performance in high-velocity, digitally driven environments, equipping leaders to navigate ongoing transformation with confidence.
This programme is a collaboration between SMU Academy and Universal Stage (UStage), a consultancy-based training company, to equip leaders with the versatile capabilities to lead their people and enterprises in a digitalisation-enabled future.

Learning Objectives
At the end of the 3-day course, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate the impact of digital disruption, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption on leadership expectations and workforce capabilities across industries
- Interpret digital workforce data and performance dashboards to operationalise AI readiness insights into structured personal development priorities
- Translate personal aspirations into structured development plans aligned with future digital work requirements, incorporating digital capability readiness indicators
- Apply adaptive leadership approaches to effectively manage human-technology integrated teams across digital, hybrid, and virtual work contexts
- Build a personalised development scorecard incorporating self-assessment benchmarks, digital capability priorities, and continuous improvement mechanisms
- Apply coaching and mentoring strategies to support continuous digital upskilling and knowledge transfer within technology-enabled teams
- Strengthen resilience and well-being practices to sustain management effectiveness in high-velocity digital environments
Assessment
As part of the requirement for Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.
This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Application to utilise SkillsFuture Credits can be submitted when making payment for the course via the SMU Academy TMS Portal, and can only be made within 60 days of course start date.

Employer Sponsored
Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
