PREREQUISITES
Participants should have at least 1-2 years of experience in a legal services firm.
Overview
This module helps participants create a process in building common understanding and collaboration for teams. Participants will learn Legal Design and Design Thinking’s human-centric paradigm and structured approach, in the aim to create a measurable and effective solution.
Learning Objectives
- Understand how to use legal design and design thinking to develop a process for building common understanding and collaboration for teams seeking to innovate value delivery to clients
- Explore legal design and design thinking as a competitive advantage for the modern law firm and acquire practical experience with design thinking
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.
CPD POINTS
Participants will be able to earn 6 CPD Points awarded by Singapore Institute of Legal Education for this course.
Participants who wish to obtain CPD Points are reminded that they must comply strictly with the Attendance Policy set out in the CPD Guidelines. For this activity, this includes signing in on arrival and signing out at the conclusion of the activity in the manner required by the organiser, and not being absent from the entire activity for more than 15 minutes. - Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
