PREREQUISITES
Participants should have at least 3 years of experience in a legal services firm.
Overview
This module provides methods for law firms to position themselves as attractive employers for talent and identify pathways for the development, as well as help lawyers, identify their leadership styles to improve themselves in becoming effective leaders.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the ways in which law firms can position themselves as attractive employers for millennial talent for the development of their professional skills and careers
- Identify their personal leadership inclinations and take a deliberate approach towards upgrading the necessary skillsets for being an effective leader in addition to a proficient lawyer
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.
CPD POINTS
Participants will be able to earn 6 CPD Points awarded by Singapore Institute of Legal Education for this course.
Participants who wish to obtain CPD Points are reminded that they must comply strictly with the Attendance Policy set out in the CPD Guidelines. For this activity, this includes signing in on arrival and signing out at the conclusion of the activity in the manner required by the organiser, and not being absent from the entire activity for more than 15 minutes.
