Overview
The traditional workplace has evolved into a digital one, marked by the characteristics of a BANI (Brittle, Anxious, Non-Linear, and Incomprehensible) world.
This module aims to examine the different psychological frameworks associated with emotions, and how they can be applied in the digital workplace to improve employee engagement, risk management, and professional development to encourage non-linear problem solving.
The module will also explore common emotional challenges faced by employees, and equip individuals with basic micro skills to manage colleagues and remote/ borderless collaborations.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the two-day module, participants will be able to:
- Understand the role of psychology to facilitate employee engagement in the BANI (Brittle, Anxious, Non-Linear, and Incomprehensible) world
- Demonstrate understanding and application of psychological frameworks in the new digital workplace for enhanced decision making, risk management, performance appraisals and recruitment.
- Apply micro skills (e.g., non-verbal communication, listening, responding) within and outside the workplace.
