Topic/Structure
To achieve the (SCTP) Advanced Certificate in Generative AI for Business Analyst, participants will need to complete the following modules offered by SMU Academy:
Module 1: Business Analysis Fundamentals and Introduction to Generative AI
In this module, participants will learn about business analysis, data pre-processing and foundational concepts in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. This sets the foundation for the subsequent modules, where participants will acquire proficiency in utilising various generative AI tools such as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), autoencoders, and language models to optimise workflows and drive efficiency.
Module 2: Use Cases of Gen AI in Business Analytics, Part 1
This second module dives deeper into the application of generative AI for data analysis, including specific units that focus on process optimisation, natural language processing and customer behaviour analysis using generative AI. Participants will learn how to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks in business processes and make informed decisions using AI-driven simulations and predictive models.
Module 3: Use Cases of Gen AI in Business Analytics, Part 2
This final module covers decision support systems, risk management and predictive modelling and ethical considerations in artificial intelligence (AI). It will conclude with a capstone project, tasking participants with resolving real-world business problems by applying the tools they have acquired and presenting their solutions to simulated stakeholders.
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of every module. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for each of the 3 modules in order to be awarded the digital (SCTP) Advanced Certificate in Generative AI for Business Analyst issued by Singapore Management University.
