Overview
This two-day course reframes sustainability from a compliance obligation into a strategic driver of long-term value, equipping finance professionals to integrate ESG principles across business strategy and operations. Participants will examine global sustainability frameworks and understand how evolving regulatory and market expectations are reshaping business models and investor priorities.
The course introduces key sustainable finance mechanisms such as green bonds and sustainability-linked loans, and provides practical tools to assess ESG risks, conduct materiality analysis, evaluate climate-related exposures, and support effective sustainability reporting. Through interactive lectures, case studies, workshops, and scenario planning, participants will apply these concepts to real-world business contexts.
Designed for finance professionals, the course emphasises building organisational capability in sustainability governance, ESG performance, and stakeholder engagement. At the end of the course, participants will be equipped to embed ESG into decision-making, strengthen resilience, and identify new opportunities for strategic growth in a rapidly evolving global sustainability landscape.
