Overview

In today's business landscape, organisations are not lacking in data; instead, many cross-functional teams grapple with the challenge of managing an overwhelming amount of data and struggle to effectively communicate insights or present actionable information for informed decision-making. 

The primary objective of this course is to empower learners with the skills needed to adopt a strategic approach in understanding stakeholders' objectives when creating reports. By doing so, they will gain the ability to generate meaningful, data-driven reports that incorporate the appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Moreover, the course will delve into data visualisation techniques, enabling participants to transform raw data into visually compelling representations.

Learning Objectives

  •  Differentiate between data reporting and data analysis
  • Understand the types of data reports for different organisational purposes
  • Apply essential principles of data reporting to present meaningful data-driven business reports
  • Utilise data tools and dashboards to transform data into actionable insights for reporting purposes
  • Incorporate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to specific reporting objectives
  • Formulate data-driven report to improve overall business performance

Assessment

As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course.

 

CERTIFICATION

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
  • Trainees are eligible for ETSS funding only if their company's SME status is approved prior to the course commencement date. To verify your SME's status, please click here.
