SMU Academy and TechFin Global have launched the Advanced Certificate in Agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI), supporting Singapore’s push to develop 100,000 AI-bilingual workers and helping professionals move beyond basic generative AI use towards practical AI implementation.
The 12-day programme equips working professionals with the capabilities to design, build and responsibly deploy AI agents within their organisations. Across six modules, participants will explore agentic AI foundations, workflow design, practical implementation, industry applications, and AI governance and safety.

The Advanced Certificate in Agentic Artificial Intelligence brings together academic perspectives, practical application and responsible AI principles to help working professionals develop a deeper understanding on how agentic AI can be applied across business functions and industries. Beyond understanding the technology, participants will develop the practical and responsible application skills needed to translate AI into workplace outcomes.
Designed for managers, business leaders, consultants, product professionals, operations teams and technical practitioners across industries, the programme focuses on translating AI capabilities into real-world business outcomes, while helping participants understand the importance of governance, safeguards, human oversight and accountability.
Supported by the Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), the programme is eligible for funding for Singaporeans. The first intake commences on 28 September 2026.
