Who Should Attend
Senior leaders, managers and business professionals, who are keen to support another professional’s development through coaching; Existing coaches who wish to enhance their business coaching offer.
Pre-requisites:
Participants should have, at a minimum, tertiary qualifications and at least 7 years of business/organizational experience with interests in Business Coaching.
Overview
This module prepares participants to become a developer of their coaching business or to set up a coaching unit within their organisation, and to be ready for a live coaching practice exam as they acquire the credibility and knowledge of being a good business coach. The module builds on the 3 earlier modules to advance participants coaching practice as a Registered Corporate Coach. Participants will possess working knowledge of the workspace with its diversity and demonstrate leadership behaviours in ways that enables the client to enact these behaviours for themselves.
Module 4 is the fourth element of the WABC Accredited (Level 1 - RCC)TM Professional Certificate in Business Coaching Program. Those who complete and pass all 4 modules are eligible to receive the Registered Corporate CoachTM (RCC)TM credential and become members of the Worldwide Association of Business CoachesTM (WABC)TM.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 3-day module, participants will be able to:
- Establish their personal coaching frameworks and styles through enhanced practice of the coaching models and competencies acquired in the earlier 3 modules
- Develop their coaching business or set up a coaching unit within their organization
- Brand their coaching service/unit
- Manage termination of coaching contracts/services
- Complete a live Coaching session and be ready to become a Registered Corporate Coach RCC™ [WABC fees applies, which is not included in the course fee]

Assessment
There will be a presentation or written assessment for each module.
Participants have to meet a minimum attendance rate of 75% and have to complete all assessment(s) required by the course. Only upon meeting the minimum attendance and passing the assessment will participants be issued a Certificate of Completion.
Participants who fail the assessment will be given a chance for re-assessment at a fee of SGD100.00 (excluding prevailing GST). Each participant is allowed 1 re-assessment. The re-assessment has to be taken within 7 calendar days from the end of the course date. It will be held on a weekday specified by SMU Academy and conducted during office hours. Please note that re-assessment fees are not supported by SSG Funding.
Participants who meet the minimum attendance rate but do not achieve a pass for the assessment will be issued a Certificate of Participation.
Participants are required to bring their laptop to access the course materials, class exercises and individual assessment(s).
In order to be awarded with the Professional Certificate in Business Coaching, participants are required to complete all 4 modules, in sequence, within 2 years.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

For Module 4, we have a pre-course Asynchronous component from 20 Aug to 22 Sep 2024. It must be completed by 22 Sep 2024 before the face-to-face session on 23 Sep 2024.
Participants are required to complete 4 modules (Module 1 - 4) in sequence and it is the participant's responsibility to ensure this.
