Overview
Module 3 is designed to advance learners' competencies in building/ leading a coaching culture in organisations.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 3-day module, participants will be able to:
- Deepen their knowledge and understanding of the behavioural theories that underpin the principles of coaching
- Initiate and drive an internal coaching culture within the organisation
- Develop an action plan to kick-start the professional coaching career/ journey

Day 1
Coaching Leaders - Leadership versus Management; Different leadership styles and their impacts
Leaders in Transition - The different levels of leadership; Coaching leaders through transitions
Relational Dynamics - Explain the drama triangle; Impact of leadership styles on team dynamics
Coaching Culture - What it looks like and the benefits; Key levers to move towards a coaching culture
Day 2
Coaching for Personal Change - Understand the logical levels of change by Dilts; Alignment of levels and identify actions for change
Working with Values - What values are and how they are formed; Practice ways to create a hierarchy of values
Working with Beliefs - Understand the differences between limiting and supporting beliefs; Create strategies to re-define them
Coaching Practice - Practice particular skills; Receive feedback on practice
Day 3
Coaching Practice - Practice particular skills; Receive feedback on practice
Supervision - What it is and its importance; Apply 7 eye model to coaching practice
Define your Coaching Journey - Identify your sweet spot as a coach; Decide on next steps to establish yourself as a coach

ICF Credentialing
The program is recognized as accredited training by ICF - the world’s largest organization of professionally trained coaches, based in USA. The first three modules provide the participant with the required number of training hours related to the ICF competencies. The last module allows the participant to better understand the requirements of ICF credentialing and the preparation needed for their coaching career.
The program fulfils the training hours required in the ACSTH pathway to ICF certification. However, to qualify as an ICF-certified coach, you would need to fulfil other requirements as mentioned in the ICF website: https://coachingfederation.org/
Assessment
Participants have to meet a minimum attendance rate of 75% and have to complete all assessment(s) required by the course. Only upon meeting the minimum attendance and passing the assessment will participants be issued a Certificate of Completion.
Participants who fail the assessment will be given a chance for re-assessment at a fee of SGD100.00 (excluding prevailing GST). Each participant is allowed 1 re-assessment. The re-assessment has to be taken within 7 calendar days from the end of the course date. It will be held on a weekday specified by SMU Academy and conducted during office hours. Please note that re-assessment fees are not supported by SSG Funding.
Participants who meet the minimum attendance rate but do not achieve a pass for the assessment will be issued a Certificate of Participation.
Participants are required to bring their laptop to access the course materials, class exercises and individual assessment(s).
In order to be awarded with Professional Certificate in Coaching, participants are required to complete all 4 modules in sequence within 2 years.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
