Overview
From studying GDP components to evaluating economic statistics, participants will also learn how policies affect economies in different countries and construct an asset-allocation model for their own strategies.

- Propose suitably forward-looking asset allocation based on the analysis

- Understanding a country's potential GDP and the 4 engines of economic growth
- Inflationary and deflationary economic cycles
- Effect of currency, interest rate and seasonal factors on financial markets
- Workshop on downloading and data visualisation for economic and financial data
- Dynamic asset allocation as the business cycle changes
- Workshop on asset allocation
- Sector selection in the stock markets along the change in business cycle
- Passive investing: "Smart or Lucky?"
- Relative value in fixed income along the change in business climate
Assessment
An assessment will be conducted at the end of each module.
CERTIFICATION
Upon meeting the attendance and assessment criteria, participants will be awarded a digital certificate for participating in each module. Please refer to our course policies to view the attendance and assessment criteria.
Upon completion of all modules required for this programme within a maximum duration of 3 years, participants will be awarded a digital certificate.
