Overview

In trading, we seize opportunities to profit in a shorter time frame through the rise and fall of markets. However, having a keen eye to strike when the iron is hot requires a deep understanding of fundamentals through disciplined practice and a commitment to constant learning and adapting.

This programme encompasses an overview of the global financial markets, trading, strategies, and practical guidance from experts who were able to consistently yield profitable returns for the past 16 years. Build foundational knowledge in the fast game of trading and learn how to analyse data to make wiser decisions. Participants in this programme will also undergo practical exercises to experiment with trading strategies and apply them in the real markets.

  • Learn about popular trades in Financial Markets such as Equity, FX, Commodities and Fixed Income
  • Understand how market fundamentals impact prices in each of the mainstream asset class markets, identify opportunities and formulate trade strategies
  • Understand the features mechanics of liquidly traded financial instruments such as Futures and Vanilla Options and how to employ them to monetise trade/ investment strategies
  • Understand how to run a sustainable, stable, efficient and profitable trading operation through prudent money and risk management

CERTIFICATION

Upon completion of all 6 modules within a maximum duration of 3 years, participants will be awarded a digital Certificate in Financial Trading.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
