Who Should Attend

  • Business Development, Operations and Solutions executives in the logistics or sales and customer service of a logistics organisation
  • PMEs who have the relevant work experience from other service industries or sectors wishing to enhance their knowledge and skills or who are planning to expand their job portfolio or are seeking national certification/qualification in the logistics sector
  • PMEs and career switchers with supervisory or managerial experiences or individuals in other related industries planning to join the logistics sector


PREREQUISITES

  • Participants must possess at least 4 GCE 'O' level passes or equivalent
  • Participants with relevant working experiences may be considered for entry on a case to case basis if they do not have the necessary qualification

Overview

Learn to drive supply chain innovation with digital tools, low-code tech, and Google AppSheet to boost efficiency and customer experience.

Digital transformation in supply chain management enables organisational flexibility and business process automation and accelerates innovation in supply chain management. To take maximum advantage of digitalised supply chain models, it is important that companies make it an integral part of the overall business model and organisational structure. 

This module is designed to equip participants with the skills to fully exploit the internet and improve customer experience with digital technologies. Participants will be introduced to the low-code, no-code tech applications and provided with foundational training in Google AppSheet application.

 

Learning Objectives

At the end of the 3-day module, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the meaning and challenges involved in an integrated digital business strategy

  • Gain an understanding of the development of a digital culture
  • Know basic tech primer on software, operating systems and coding language

Assessment

As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

SkillsFuture Credit

Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.

This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Application to utilise SkillsFuture Credits can be submitted when making payment for the course via the SMU Academy TMS Portal, and can only be made within 60 days of course start date.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman

As Adjunct Faculty at SMU and SUSS, he shares expertise in Industry 4.0 and operations management, earning recognition for his teaching excellence. Dr Koh, holding a Ph.D. in Robotics from NUS and a First-Class Bachelor's from King's College London, utilises Python for operational analytics, driving impactful business decisions.
