Overview
In today’s evolving business landscape, this programme equips participants with the skills to lead in responsible business practices. This programme covers key aspects of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) responsibility, highlighting how sustainable procurement enhances competitive advantage and brand reputation. Participants will also gain insights into how organisations prioritise sustainable practices for long-term success and positive impact.
Topic/Structure
To achieve the Advanced Certificate in Sustainable Procurement, participants will need to complete the following modules offered by SMU Academy:
Module 1: Mastering Effective Sustainable Procurement
Module 2: Sustainable Strategies in the Procurement Lifecycle
Module 3: Sustainable Procurement for a Greener Environment
Module 4: Leading Procurement in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
Module 5: Sustainable Procurement Policy, Frameworks and Reporting
Module 6: Driving Sustainability in Suppliers
This module is part of the Industry Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Procurement.
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of every module. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for each of the 6 modules within 3 years in order to be awarded the digital Advanced Certificate in Sustainable Procurement issued by Singapore Management University.
