Overview

In today's rapidly evolving business landscape, the role of suppliers in advancing sustainability goals has never been more crucial. This course is designed to empower participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to drive sustainability initiatives within their supplier networks. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the critical role suppliers play in sustainability, learn effective strategies to foster awareness and commitment to sustainability, and master tools for driving supplier behaviors towards sustainability. Additionally, participants will learn how to build trust and cultivate long-term partnerships with suppliers to achieve a shared sustainable vision.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to:

• Understand the critical role of suppliers in advancing sustainability goals

• Strategies to foster awareness and commitment to sustainability in suppliers

• Drive supplier behaviours towards sustainability through effective supplier management tools.

• Build trust and long term partnership with suppliers to achieve sustainable vision

Assessment

As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.
