Overview

Vanilla option is a financial instrument that grant the holder the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an underlying asset at a predetermined price within a given timeframe. It offers an avenue for market participants to express their views on the underlying asset volatility as well as financial leverage.

Get familiar with vanilla options and learn to manage the risk through strategies that put traders at better advantage. Participants will be better acquainted through practical exercises to better understand the business of vanilla options.

Assessment

An assessment will be conducted at the end of each module.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
