Overview
In this module, the participants will learn the processes of creating a brand persona and go from ideation to creation. From concept to completion, they will have the opportunity to get an in-depth understanding of what it takes to effectively plan, craft and create a great piece of video content and execute a perfect shoot with the least amount of fuss and frustration.
Learning Objectives
- Establish a brand persona for video storytelling
- Understand video theory and video story structures
- Develop a basic script and storyboard
- Plan a video shoot to bring your video idea to life
- Explore different equipment for video production
- Understand basic lighting and audio techniques to enhance your videos
- Learn and apply the basic techniques of shooting video interviews
- Create an essential checklist for a shooting a video
Topic/Structure
- Copywriting and scripting for your video and VSL (Video Sales Letter)
- Introduction to DSLR cameras, mobile phones for video, lights and sound
- How to plan for a video shoot
- Create an essential checklist and anticipate things that can go wrong
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course.
CERTIFICATION
Upon meeting the attendance and assessment criteria, participants will be awarded a digital certificate for participating in each module. Please refer to our course policies to view the attendance and assessment criteria.
Upon completion of all modules required for this programme within a maximum duration of 3 years, participants will be awarded a digital certificate.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
