Overview

As Singapore gradually evolves into a ‘Digital Republic’, the inclusion of data analytics into our daily processes has forced traditional sales and marketing professionals into limbo as organisations are constantly on the hunt for marketers with ‘hybrid’ skillsets. The new age of digital marketing has additionally paved a neoteric avenue for the introduction of diversified dynamics and methods in which we conduct sales and execute marketing strategies.

This programme is developed for participants to be equipped with the relevant skills and knowledge to encapsulate what it takes to be a marketer in this new era. Through a mix of guided exercises, experience-sharing and paired negotiation work, participants will also receive first-hand guidance on how they can increase their closing rates as better deal makers through the application of the latest techniques in negotiation, social psychology in setting the stage and most importantly, closing.

  • Learn the best digital marketing strategy to acquire, retain and build loyal customers
  • Understand the importance of CRM
  • How to target audience on a marketing solutions platform

Topic/Structure

This programme can be taken on a standalone basis*. However, to achieve the Advanced Certificate in Competitive Sales and Marketing, participants need to complete the following modules offered by SMU Academy:

Module 1: Sales & Marketing in the 21st Century - Impact of Technology and Customer Journey in the Digital Era
Module 2: Fundamentals of Account Based Marketing & Social Selling - Platform & Audience Engagement
Module 3: Marketing & Sales to the Chinese Consumer - Strategies & Techniques for Effective Selling
Module 4: Future of Brand Experience - Driving Revenue and Increasing Brand Equity through Sensory Marketing
Module 5: The Art of Closing - Effective Tactics and Strategies to Getting a Yes *
Module 6: The Future of Sales - New Strategies to Create Predictable Revenue *

CERTIFICATION

Upon completion of all 6 modules within a maximum duration of 3 years, participants will be awarded a digital Advanced Certificate in Competitive Sales and Marketing.
