Overview
This course introduces finance professionals to the megatrends driving a profound transformation across the global finance landscape. Over two days, participants will explore how AI in finance, blockchain technology, ESG and sustainability, and geopolitical risk are reshaping the accounting and finance profession. Through interactive lectures, case studies, group discussions, and scenario analysis, participants will examine the impact of AI, blockchain, ESG demands, and global tensions, and understand how these forces interact to disrupt traditional business and financial models.
The course equips participants with both technical insights and strategic leadership capabilities, including adaptability, ethical judgment, strategic thinking, and effective communication. Participants will gain a clearer view of the evolving role of finance leaders, from technical stewards to strategic value creators, and develop the skills needed to navigate uncertainty and seize emerging opportunities.
Serving as the foundation for the programme, this course provides a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities facing finance professionals in a rapidly changing world.
