Overview

This module offers a comprehensive learning experience, introducing participants to innovative tools and platforms for customer engagement, tracking, and interaction. Key elements of the course include a deep dive into Mailchimp, where participants will discover how to design effective email marketing campaigns. The course also explores the use of Trello in managing projects, emphasising its role in enhancing workflow efficiency.

A significant portion of the course is dedicated to practical learning, with a focus on setting up and applying automation tools such as Google Tag Manager. Through examples and exercises, participants gain hands-on experience. Additionally, the course covers Zapier's functionalities, highlighting how it can streamline and automate various tasks.

Upon completion, participants will not only appreciate the real-world benefits of these tools for their businesses but also understand their integral role in a broader digital marketing strategy.

Assessment

As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of every module. The mode of assessment varies depending on the modules and it will be either an online quiz or group presentation.

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for each of the 8 modules in order to be eligible for programme funding and to be awarded the digital (SCTP) Advanced Certificate in Digital Marketing issued by Singapore Management University.

1 Up to 70% course fee funding
2 Up to 90% course fee funding under SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy ("MCES")

  • Long-term unemployed individuals (6 months or more); or
  • Individuals in need of financial assistance [ComCare Short-to-Medium Term Assistance (SMTA) recipients or Workfare Income Supplement (WIS) recipients]; or
  • Persons with disabilities

4 SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme for Mid-Career Individuals (NEW)
A SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) top-up of $4,000 will be provided to Singaporeans aged 40 years and above to further offset out-of-pocket course fees for this programme.

Self Sponsored

SkillsFuture Credit

Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.

This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Application to utilise SkillsFuture Credits can be submitted when making payment for the course via the SMU Academy TMS Portal, and can only be made within 60 days of course start date.

Zhong Li is the founder of Mikangle, and also the Co-Founder of Finty. His extensive digital and marketing experience of over 17 years has honed his ability to deliver digital solutions across technology and financial industries. Prior to helming business growth efforts at Finty, Zhong Li was the Vice President of Ebusiness at OCBC Bank, heading up digital sales and performance management. He was also the Digital Marketing Lead at Yahoo!, where he developed digital strategies, campaigns, and programs for SEA region. As part of his interest in the internet space, he gives training at academies, speaks at conferences, also advises startups and SMEs on digital business. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and an MBA from the University of Adelaide, as well as the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) from Institute of Adult Learning

Jeremy is the Technology Advisor for Finty, an online financial marketplace that was acquired by an Australian firm for a seven-figure sum, 15 months after the company was launched. Currently a regional programme manager for a large tech firm, he manages external technical integration projects across Asia and Europe. Prior to Finty, Jeremy was managing global B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms for companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Singtel. His role involved global analytics implementation at HP’s Global Partner Portal and eCommerce automation at Singtel’s Consumer online store. His first startup was Infrenion Communications, a cloud hosting startup which was acquired by an Indian business process outsourcing company in 2005. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Western Australia and an MBA from Nanyang Business School.
