Overview
In the first part of this course, participants will gain a good understanding of negotiation context, objectives and targeted outcomes as aligned with their organisation's positioning. Participants will also learn to appreciate the social and cultural differences that may affect negotiations, using relevant background information to better understand the other parties’ position, and achieve desired outcomes through negotiation techniques supported by proper recording.
The second part of the course focuses on implementing client relationship management (CRM) capabilities. Participants will use CRM tools to support client acquisition, engagement, account servicing, cross-selling, and analysis the impact of marketing and outreach on client relationships.

- Successfully identify and articulate negotiation objectives and context in various commercial situations
- Apply negotiation techniques effectively, considering social and cultural differences
- Implement and leverage CRM tools and technologies to maximise client acquisition and engagement
- Analyse and utilise customer data to enhance relationship management and drive sales outcomes
- Document and evaluate negotiation processes for continuous improvement
Assessment
At the end of the course, participants will be assessed on their competencies acquired through the learnings via a quiz.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

IBF - STS Funding (For courses commencing from 1 Jan 2023 onwards)
Standards Training Scheme
IBF-STS Funding of 50% is available to eligible institutions and qualified individuals, subject to meeting the attendance requirement and passing of assessment. The IBF-STS funding is subject to a cap of S$3,000 per participant per programme.
Singapore Citizens aged 40 years old and above will be eligible for 70% co-funding of direct training costs.
The IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS) provides funding for training and assessment programmes accredited under the Skills Framework for Financial Services. It is applicable for both Company-Sponsored and Non Company-Sponsored individuals.
