PREREQUISITES
- A Bachelor's Degree; or
- A Diploma with at least 3 years of working experience
- Basic knowledge in Finance and/or relevant working experience in the finance sector
- Comfortable dealing and working with multiple mathematical formula
Overview
While futures trading may be seen as a high-risk activity, a good grasp of its analysis, insight and management techniques make futures trading a benefit for diversification, hedging and speculative purposes. Make this an advantage as you learn its rudiments from principles to risk-management techniques and trading strategies.
Participants in this module will learn how futures trading works and understand the benefits as an alternative to other financial products. They will also learn strategic moves in potential buys while positioning their contracts in the most profitable manner.
Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate understanding of futures trading theory, functions, characteristics and terminology
- Manage the settlement process
- Be able to apply risk management techniques to Futures Trading positions

Assessment
An assessment will be conducted at the end of each module.

Upon meeting the attendance and assessment criteria, participants will be awarded a digital certificate for participating in each module. Please refer to our course policies to view the attendance and assessment criteria.
Upon completion of all modules required for this programme within a maximum duration of 3 years, participants will be awarded a digital certificate.

- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
