Overview

This module is crafted to provide a thorough understanding of the expanding realm of social media within the broader spectrum of digital marketing. It begins by laying a foundation for social media’s role in omnichannel marketing, equipping participants with the skills to seamlessly integrate social media strategies into a larger marketing framework. Key elements of the curriculum include audience analysis and segmentation, alongside the development of engaging content strategies tailored for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

A significant focus is placed on the practical aspects of social media marketing, guiding participants through the intricacies of influencer collaborations and platform-specific advertising, and their machine learning capabilities. It also equips participants with the knowledge to measure and interpret the success of social media efforts using various analytical tools and metrics.

This module enables participants to translate social media activities into tangible marketing outcomes, effectively enhancing engagement and amplifying marketing influence.

  • Understand the role of social media and its integration in an omnichannel marketing approach
  • Develop skills in segmentation and targeting techniques for identifying and engaging with specific audience segments on various social media platforms
  • Acquire the ability to craft compelling, platform-specific content and strategies to enhance engagement and amplify marketing influence
  • Set up and implement practical platform-specific advertising like Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and run through their machine learning capabilities
  • Measure social media success using analytics to track, measure, and optimise campaign performance
