Who Should Attend
CFOs, finance leaders and senior finance executives with some years of financial management experience and who are grappling with dilemmas of organisational transformation - from any size company and any industry.
PREREQUISITES
Participants should have minimally 5 years of financial management experience.
Overview
This module unpacks the nature of analytics, insights & decision-making and its application across various domains, including Finance. Participants will delve into analytics problem-solving approaches such as recognising equivocality in problem statements, developing analytical frameworks, and a formal 7-step methodology. Through the use of case studies, participants will explore the foundations of common data modelling techniques, and how these can be applied in Finance and Accounting. They will also touch on the growing trend in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence and understand the concerns around it.

Gain an overview of the emerging analytics landscape and the importance of demystifying big data
- Understand the need for deeper and broader analytics capabilities in the finance function
- Learn through the use of case studies the importance of analytics framework in driving proper adoption of analytics
- Understand the range of analytical approaches for problem solving
Assessment
Course assessment will be in the form of online quizzes. There will be a short assessment at the end of the module.
CERTIFICATION
Upon completion of all 7 modules within a maximum duration of 3 months, participants will be awarded a digital Online Certificate in Future of Finance.
