Overview

While innovation is generally a positive development, there is a range of possible policy and regulatory ramifications that can generate some uncertainties and limitations in the development of a business. The justification for competition law or policy is to boost the health and productivity of consumers in production and supply, leading to lower prices and wider choices.

This module introduces participants to new entrants to the insurance sector in the form of start-ups. These players innovate and make use of technology to bring a range of positive changes to compete in the insurance market.
