Since the advent of ChatGPT, Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) has emerged as a mainstream tool in the corporate world, transforming how organisations enhance productivity and learning, and in many cases, becoming a game changer. However, merely using ChatGPT or other pre-trained models is no longer sufficient as organisations shift from passive users to active creators and deployers of the technology. Moreover, effective governance and management of Gen AI are essential to ensure its responsible use. This Advanced Certificate is tailored for non-technical professionals, particularly those from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), who have domain expertise but lack programming skills. It is designed for individuals interested in using prompt engineering techniques to develop Gen AI tools and chatbots for specific use cases, with the ability to deploy these applications either internally or to clients.
Topic/Structure
To achieve the Advanced Certificate in Generative Artificial Intelligence Apps Design and Prompt Engineering, participants will need to complete the following modules offered by SMU Academy:
Module 2: Gen AI Apps Design and Prompt Engineering in Human Resource
Module 3: Gen AI Apps Design and Prompt Engineering in Learning and Development
Module 4: Gen AI Apps Design and Prompt Engineering in Compliance and Legal
Module 5: Gen AI Apps Design and Prompt Engineering in Sales and Customer Service
Module 6: Gen AI Apps Design and Prompt Engineering in Marketing and Communications
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of every module. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment for each of the 6 modules within 3 years in order to be awarded the digital Advanced Certificate in Generative Artificial Intelligence Apps Design and Prompt Engineering issued by Singapore Management University.
