PREREQUISITES
There are no prerequisites for this programme. Prior knowledge on any of the topics is not required.
Overview
In this module, participants will be introduced to the latest advancements in chatbots and AI, including the design and development of chatbots, their integration with decentralised platforms, and the deployment and maintenance of these systems. Through a combination of case studies and hands-on exercises, participants will gain an understanding of the basics of AI and chatbots, as well as the more advanced concepts such as natural language processing, ChatGPT, chatbot development, deployment and optimisation, and the applications of AI and chatbots in various industries. By the end of the module, participants would have gained a solid understanding of AI and Chatbots and how they can be leveraged in various applications.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to:
- Gain an overview of chatbots, AI in different industries and their correlation to blockchain and decentralised technologies
- Gain an understanding of designing and developing chatbots and training and testing chatbots - prototyping
- Understand the concepts of personalisation and context-awareness in chatbots and ChatGPT
- Understand the process of integrating chatbots and monitoring and maintaining chatbots for improvements
- Identify the synergy between Web 3.0, chatbots and AI, i.e., decentralisation and AI-powered chatbots; personalisation and privacy in chatbots; integration in Web 3.0
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.
