Overview

Unlock the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to connect with the massive Chinese consumer market.

Go beyond basic marketing and discover how to strategically leverage AI on key platforms like Xiao Hong Shu (XHS), a powerhouse cross-border app. This course empowers participants to effectively utilise a comprehensive and customised AI tool to engage with Chinese consumers via XHS.

Participants will delve into practical applications of using AI to generate and customise market planning, create different types of contents, and optimise campaigns. Master the nuances of Chinese communication by leveraging AI to craft compelling messages in various tones, such as formal, informal, and persuasive to effectively communicate with potential Chinese customers. On top of this, participants will also have a chance to create AI Avatar video for marketing and sales to Chinese consumers using AI-generated content/script.

Through interactive exercises and real-world case studies, participants will discover how to integrate AI into their marketing and sales strategies, enhancing lead generation and improving conversion rates. By the end of the course, participants will walk away with actionable strategies and the concrete skills needed to confidently navigate and thrive in the competitive landscape of Chinese marketing across Asia.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the two-day course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the basics of the popular cross-border platform Xiao Hong Shu (XHS) and how it can support business expansion
  • Learn about Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and how they can help market their brand or products to Chinese consumers
  • Gain hands-on experience using AI tools to create, optimise, and implement marketing strategies targeting Chinese consumers
  • Produce various types of content using AI tools, including AI avatar videos, to effectively engage with Chinese consumers

•    Xiaohongshu (RED/XHS) Essentials – Platform overview, audience insights, and why it matters for your business
•    AI Market Intelligence – Use AI tools to analyse and optimise your market strategy
•    AI Content Engine – Create Chinese content that attracts and engages your target audience in XiaoHongShu
•    AI Avatar Creation – Build a personalized AI avatar to represent your brand and scale content
•    Growth Tactics – Paid and Unpaid methods to drive traffic and generate leads on XHS
•    48-Hour Lead Follow-Up  – Engage and convert qualified leads timely and fast
•    Case Studies – Learn how other businesses achieved effective outcomes through XHS marketing

Assessment

As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman

Hendrick has more than 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. Along with project and event management, he is also known for his ability to create innovative technology-based products and systems. Hendrick was previously in an MNC where he set up Business-to-Business online platforms, and customised solutions for consumer products and services. He was also leading a team in a Statutory Board to develop strategic social media products and national programmes in the Health and Wellness sector.
