PREREQUISITES

  • A Bachelor's Degree; or
  • A Diploma with at least 3 years of working experience
  • Basic knowledge in Finance and/or relevant working experience in the finance sector
  • Comfortable dealing and working with multiple mathematical formula
  • Participants are required to complete the Certificate in Financial Trading - Introduction to Trading Using Technical Analysis before registering Certificate in Financial Trading - Fundamentals of Ichimoku

Overview

The Ichimoku Kinko Hyo, or the “equilibrium at a glance chart” is known for its applications in equities and futures. The system combines a variety of indicators to create an overall picture of the market, providing traders with high probability trading signals. This “one look” chart allows traders to effectively discern price action of an asset, and make trading decisions.

Participants in this module will learn to understand how Ichimoku works and apply it to their own analysis of the markets. Through practices, participants will be better equipped to identify opportunities and make wiser decisions in trading.

  • Learn to apply this technical analysis to identify trend directions and other trade indicators

Assessment

An assessment will be conducted at the end of each module.

Upon meeting the attendance and assessment criteria, participants will be awarded a digital certificate for participating in each module. Please refer to our course policies to view the attendance and assessment criteria. 

Upon completion of all modules required for this programme within a maximum duration of 3 years, participants will be awarded a digital certificate.

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman

Adrian Ong has more than 15 years of trading experience in the financial markets. Currently, he is a professional trader managing his own fund that has yielded an average of over 20% annual returns. He is also a Certified Financial Technician from International Federation of Technical Analyst and member of Technical Analysts Society of Singapore. Adrian provides consultation and training services in Technical Analysis and is passionate in mentoring and educating others in achieving profitability in their trading journey. He holds a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and went on to obtain his Masters of Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from NTU.
