Overview

Technical analysis is an established method and skill for making objective investment and trading decisions in the financial markets. It involves the ability to use past price movements to forecast future movements when buying and selling stocks, for instance, or when trading in forex or commodities.

Be equipped with this essential skill, which enables participants to make financial decisions in timing their investments through the understanding of supply, demand and breakouts as well as identifying short and long-term trends.

I had only basic knowledge of TA before attending the course, knowing simple indicators like moving averages, RSI, and basic candlesticks. The course gave me a good introduction to technical analysis techniques and guidance on how to use them. You have shown us some simple but useful trading techniques to guide us on when to enter the market and when to exit on taking profit or cutting loss. The last part of risk/ reward management is a good reminder to manage our risk so as to maximise our profit and limit our loss. I can see you put a lot of effort into preparing the course material and I am appreciative that you provided as much information as you can over the 2 nights and 1 day. Perhaps it may be better if the course duration is longer to spread out the learning so that there can be a more hands-on exercise in class :-) Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with us.

Although it was a short course, it was well-packaged and focused to equip the students with basic but effective trading techniques.
