Overview
This course focuses on embedding circular economy principles and green design thinking into corporate strategy to strengthen climate adaptation. Participants will explore waste reduction models, material circularity, regenerative design, lifecycle analysis, and sustainable product innovation.
The integration of circular practices across operations, procurement, and product development is also addressed, with a focus on translating design concepts into practical implementation. Participants will develop structured roadmaps that connect circular design strategies with measurable climate adaptation outcomes and lont-term enterprise competitiveness.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 2-day course, participants will be able to:
- Communicate and position circular design strategies effectively to internal stakeholders and decision-makers
- Evaluate cost implications and operational trade-offs associated with green design and circular economy adoption
- Develop design trade-off frameworks to support balanced and informed decision-making
- Identify different levels of circularity, including product, service, and system-level applications
- Create a circular design canvas to support implementation of sustainable and circular business models
Assessment
As part of the requirement for Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
