PREREQUISITES

Participants should be familiar with the basics of crypto/ blockchain, and its effects on the gaming industry.

Overview

GameFi – a combination of gaming and finance – is becoming extremely popular. Gamers and Web3 developers alike are excited about this latest trend and the earning potential in play-to-earn (P2E) gaming models within the blockchain industry.

As such, it’s not surprising that inquiries on how to create a GameFi game are increasing. What’s more, many are curious about how to tap into the potential of the P2E and non-fungible token (NFT) game markets. Thus, knowing how to create a GameFi game is the first step to entering this new and exciting opportunity. This course will equip participants with the knowledge and proper tools so that they can easily build a GameFi game.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the 2-day course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the basics of blockchain and NFT technology
  • Understand the industry of gaming and how NFT will have an impact

Assessment

As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.

Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.
