Overview
This course redefines ROI through the lens of AI-assisted decision-making and sustainable digital transformation. Participants will explore how AI tools enhance forecasting, scenario simulation, capital allocation, and sustainability performance measurement. It introduces frameworks that incorporate adaptation benefits, avoided risk costs, and long-term Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) metrics into financial analysis.
Through applied case exercises, participants examine how organisations assess digital transformation and sustainable investment opportunities using enhanced ROI models. These approaches account for resilience, carbon impact, and strategic enterprise value, enabling more informed and forward-looking investment decisions.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 2-day course, participants will be able to:
- Assess the limitations of traditional Return on Investment (ROI) models in the context of digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and sustainability initiatives
- Understand how organisations prioritise digital and sustainable investments, balancing financial returns with long-term value creation
- Apply AI and Machine Learning (ML) approaches to identify gaps and opportunities in sustainability performance
- Develop AI-informed ROI frameworks that capture both financial and non-financial value drivers
- Translate data insights into sustainable innovation strategies that support business growth and competitive advantage
Assessment
As part of the requirement for Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion.
