The course has specifically been designed for those who have attended Data Analytics @ Work 101 but participants with specific interest in the contents of this course are welcome to register.
PREREQUISITES
The course requires a grounding in enterprise analytics at a level reflected in the sister course - Data Analytics @ Work 101. Prior experience with Microsoft Excel at a foundational level is expected.
Overview
Continuing with real world examples from Finance, Marketing, Service, Operations, and Strategy, all tackled in Microsoft Excel, this course will cover topics that are essential to unlocking the next level of enterprise analytics outcomes.
For an introduction into the topic, participants may consider Data Analytics @ Work 101 before taking this course.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 2-day course, participants will be able to:
Design a tailored enterprise analytics solution for a specific strategic objective
- Design and build an enriched data foundation for their enterprise analytics solution
- Automate key tasks in the flow of data between raw sources and polished reports
- Design and build advanced decision-making tools with scenario and optimisation algorithms
- Apply advanced data visualisation techniques to pattern detection and prediction
- Bring an array of econometric, text, and geographic analyses to their data-driven initiatives
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)
- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
