Overview

Reaching the Chinese market is a trend that has never been more important than in today's economic context. In this module, participants immerse in the knowledge of Chinese digital ecosystem and consumer mindset. Participants will also explore popular marketing tools tailored to the Chinese market and learn how to utilise these trends to their advantage. With a substantial grasp of the Chinese market and its audience, participants will create better marketing strategies and apply practical techniques to their business opportunities.

This module is part of the Advanced Certificate in Competitive Sales and Marketing and is available on a standalone basis*.

  • A broad overview of various digital marketing platforms popular in China
  • Deep dive into the Chinese’ consumers mindset and what motivates them
  • Learn cost-effective marketing strategies and tactics to acquire ideal customer profiles
  • Practical session on WeChat - Consumer behaviour and how to leverage it for businesses

Topic/Structure

  • Gain practical insights of the various popular Chinese Digital Marketing tools e.g. WeChat, Taobao, Douyin etc
  • Learn paid and unpaid marketing tactics to increase followers, leads and converts
  • Learn to create a campaign plan to reach out to the Chinese consumers
  • Learn how to engage customers within 48 hours using WeChat’s Customer Relationship Management System
  • WeChat Official Account - Content creation and building web presence

CERTIFICATION

 

Upon meeting the attendance and assessment criteria, participants will be awarded a digital certificate for participating in each module. Please refer to our course policies to view the attendance and assessment criteria. 

Upon completion of all modules required for this programme within a maximum duration of 3 years, participants will be awarded a digital certificate.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs (ETSS)

  • Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
  • Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
  • Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
