Overview
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been transforming the finance industry in recent years. According to a report by IBM, AI is expected to save financial businesses about $1 trillion by 2030. More than 35% of banks are already using AI to decrease response time, better recommendation engines, and perform voice recognition and predictive analytics.
With hands-on applications of AI within the Fintech sector, Module 3 highlights current uses of AI in financial services but also casts a forward glance at emerging trends and the potential transformative effects of AI on the industry. Participants will unpack the complexities and prospects of AI-driven Fintech solutions, recognising the opportunities for innovation and the challenges of responsible AI integration.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 3-day module, participants will be able to:
- Understand the concept of AI
- Trace the evolution of AI in Fintech, Insurtech and project future developments in the space
- Devise strategies for the adoption and scaling of AI within financial services
- Develop strategies to leverage AI tools for enhancing the accessibility and effectiveness of financial services
- Delve into the technology underpinning Fintech initiatives in climate finance, including the role of AI and Big Data in green investment and carbon credit trading
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.
