Overview
We live in an information economy. And as data becomes today’s most valuable currency, the risk associated with it continues to skyrocket. Professionals who understand these risks—and the global information management practices needed to safeguard data—are in high demand.
Recognised and respected by employers the world over, the IAPP privacy and data protection certifications are the most encompassing, up-to-date and sought-after global training and certification specifically designed for professionals who manage, handle and access data. Whether your goal is to distinguish yourself from others in your field, or to advance your skills, IAPP certification is the edge you’re looking for.
To prepare yourself for the IAPP certification, the following are training courses offered by SMU Academy that you must attend. Participants who wish to pursue the certification may sit for the respective examination offered separately by IAPP after these courses. Examination voucher can be purchased at a special rate from our training partner Straits Interactive who is also one of IAPP’s official training partners. More details about the examination voucher will be shared on the last day of the course.
