Topic/Structure
To achieve the (SCTP) Advanced Certificate in Generative AI for Digital Marketing Specialist, participants will need to complete the following modules offered by SMU Academy:
Module 1: Digital Marketing Fundamentals
This module focuses on establishing a solid understanding of digital marketing fundamentals. It encompasses an overview of the current digital marketing landscape and core concepts such as defining target audiences, exploring search engine optimisation (SEO) and content strategy, understanding social media marketing, delving into email marketing, and grasping lead generation principles. This module lays a foundation in digital marketing for participants, before diving into how generative AI can enhance and support them in each of these fundamentals areas in the later modules.
Module 2: Introduction to Generative AI and its Uses in Content Generation and Marketing Analytics
In this module, participants will be introduced to generative AI and its applications in the broader marketing context. It will dive deeper into how this artificial intelligence (AI) can support marketers in tasks such as content creation, search engine optimisation (SEO), and data analytics. Participants will also be introduced to a variety of tools that they can use in this regard and learn to apply these tools in their hands-on projects for real-life practice.
Module 3: Uses of Generative AI in Marketing Personalisation and Social Media Campaigns
The third module highlights further applications of generative AI, with a particular focus on marketing personalisation and the implementation of social media campaigns. As in the second module, various AI tools are introduced for participants to practice in their hands-on projects, subsequently applying these tools into their digital marketing practice. By the module's conclusion, participants will have acquired the skills to map customer journeys, customise interactions, conceptualise and execute social media campaigns, and conduct scheduling and tracking activities—all facilitated by AI tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in these processes.
Module 4: Generative AI in Email and Landing Page Optimisation with Final Capstone
