Overview
No matter your industry or size of your company, there has never been a bigger need than today to protect and improve your online reputation. When customers or ex-employees leave your company a negative review, your brand's online reputation can go sour very quickly.
In this module, we'll explain how online review websites work and how businesses and customers rely on these websites; how your brand can claim, confirm and optimise your online review profile for better rankings; which online review websites your company should target, and, most importantly, proven and inexpensive tips and techniques you can implement in order to suppress negative reviews, and to earn more positive stories for your brand.

At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to:
Understand how to repair and recover their online reputation with effective strategies and why it's vital to focus on this now
- Define online reputation and why it matters for every business, manager and professional
- Understand how online review websites (such as Google, Facebook, Glassdoor) work
- Learn how to set up alerts to notify them about articles/reviews published about them or their business
- Learn how to audit webpages and negative media
- Know how to react to a negative review or article
- Understand how to get the review removed (or turned into a positive review)
- Know how to protect their business, staff and themselves online with online reputation management
- Learn about how to bury negative reviews using effective digital strategies
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.

- Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
- Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million
- Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
- Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Trainees must not be a full-time national serviceman
