What are SkillsFuture Credits?
SkillsFuture Credits are part of a national initiative to support skills development and lifelong learning. Since 2016, all Singaporean citizens aged 25 and above have been provided with an initial credit of S$500, which can be used to subsidise eligible training programmes.

What can I use SkillsFuture Credits for?

How do I get started?
Once you have registered for a course, you may submit a SkillsFuture Credit claim through the official SkillsFuture portal. Claims must be submitted within 60 days before the course commences and no later than 5 days prior to the start date.
How to Claim SkillsFuture Credits for SMU Academy’s Courses
Before beginning the claiming process, please ensure you have completed the following:
- Set up your SkillsFuture profile, if this is your first time accessing the portal
- Review your available credit balance in your SkillsFuture Credit wallet
